1-1 draw in Randers

Thanks to a late equalizer by brazilian striker José Junior, F.C. Copenhagen travelled from Randers in Eastern Jutland with one point. The hometeam took the lead in a tight and even first half, but Copenhagen dominated the last 45 minutes and deservedly got the equalizer.

The new centerback from Halmstad, Peter Larsson, made his debut, but had to leave the pitch in the second half with a mouth injury following a collision with Randers striker Marc Nygaard. His partner in the central defence, Ulrik Laursen, also got injured in the dying minutes of the game, when he dislocated his shoulder.

Brazilian César Santin also made his debut, when he was brought into action from the beginning of the second half, but it was another Brazilian, José Junior, who stole the headlines, when he secured a point for Copenhagen with his equalizer 7 minutes before the end. Libor Sionko set up the goal with a good pass to Junior in the penalty area, and even though he was surrounded by three Randers-defenders, he managed to get the ball past the keeper.
