Hunor Vajk Németh signs long-term contract at FCK Talent

F.C. Copenhagen are delighted to confirm Hunor Vajk Németh has signed a new long-term contract with FCK Talent.

The Hungary U17 player is a regular in the FCK U19 team and appeared in all eight of our UEFA Youth League matches this season, scoring twice.

"Hunor is a top international talent who has been playing at a high level for a long time," said development director Sune Smith-Nielsen.

"He has been at the club for a good while and we see him as a real KB boy who has already achieved a regular role in our U19 team at an early age, even though he is still an U17 player."

First team the target
Németh only recently turned 17 but already played U19 football since last spring.

"He is a central midfielder with a really good technique and engine, a great tactical understanding of the game and a mentality of international class," adds Smith-Nielsen.

"He has shown what he can do both in the Youth League and with the Hungary U17s, where he is captain.

"He has the talent to soon become a first-team player at F.C. Copenhagen and we are very much looking forward to following that development."

Parken debut the dream for Németh
Németh was born in Hungary but moved to Denmark with his parents when he was three years old. He has dual citizenship and started playing at KB back when he was eight.

"I am super happy to extend my time with FCK, which is my favorite club," he says. "Since childhood I have dreamed of making my debut in Parken and I am very much looking forward to hopefully being able to do that with even more hard work.

"I love to push forward and take responsibility on behalf of the team from my place in the midfield.

"I've had a really good time at the club up to now and have developed together with the best in Denmark on a daily basis. We've had a lot of great trips abroad, including good matches and training. Now it's about taking a step closer to the first team, training more with them and getting used to the pace. But first of all, it's about winning the U19 title this season."
