F.C. Copenhagen to build new training centre in Frederiksberg

In close collaboration with KB, F.C. Copenhagen will establish new training facilities on KB's grounds this autumn. The groundwork has just begun. 

Securing upgraded, modern training facilities for the club's first team as quickly as possible is a very high priority for F.C. Copenhagen. It is therefore with great pleasure that the club has now found an optimal solution in close cooperation with KB, who deserve great thanks for the positive, constructive process. 

This autumn, F.C. Copenhagen will establish new training facilities on KB's grounds with direct access to the club's training pitches. The new facility, covering 1,100 square meters, will be located next to Frederiksberg Hallen, and the groundwork has just begun. 

Three floors 
The new training centre will feature a reconfigured floor plan designed to meet the needs and workflow of players and staff.

It will enhance and enlarge key areas such as the changing rooms, restaurant, lounge and meeting rooms while upgrading the existing provision across all functions to ensure the club provides a best-in-class environment for sporting operations. 

F.C. Copenhagen has received a five-year permit from Frederiksberg Municipality and plans to build the new facilities this autumn. At that point, the temporary pavilion that currently houses the players' gym will be removed. 

Continued plans of a bigger centre 
Alongside this, F.C. Copenhagen will continue work on the long-term plan for a new and significantly larger performance centre of international standard at Jens Jessens Vej 10. Just before the summer holiday, Frederiksberg Municipality's Climate, Planning and Housing Committee approved the initial report for a new local plan, which will ultimately lead to the construction of permanent facilities - also with space for the U19 team - at the Number 10 site.
