Former FCK-defender Marios Oikonomou dies

We are deeply saddened by the news of our former player Marios Oikonomou’s passing at the age of 33.

Marios began his football journey in Greece before continuing his career across Europe and eventually joining F.C. Copenhagen, where he represented the club 20 times from 2020 to 2022.

During his time in Copenhagen, Marios earned the respect and admiration of teammates, staff, and supporters alike. He will be remembered not only for his contributions on the pitch, but also for the person he was off it.
