F.C. Copenhagen can confirm new agreements for four player in the Women's team have been struck.
Centre-back Ida Skovbo, striker Emma Brandt, and midfielders Anna Hemmingsen and Laura Vervacke have all agreed to extend their stay at the club.
All four players have contributed significantly to the Lionesses' development so far, and the extensions are an expression of the club's focus on continuity and stability in the squad ahead of the B Liga's promotion round in the spring.
Head coach Kasper Klarskov, highlighting the importance of stability in a very crucial period, says: “All four players know the environment, the expectations and the intensity required in the coming months.
"Maintaining continuity and at the same time ensuring peace about the players' contract terms gives us exactly the stability and focus that will ensure qualification for the A Liga.”
For F.C. Copenhagen's head of women's football, Romaney Pinnock, the deals are an important part of the club's targeted strategy to secure promotion to the A Liga.
"It is very important for us to secure players who have already made significant contributions to the team and who understand our culture and ambitions," she says.
"We are very pleased with these four deals, which support our ambitions here and now, and at the same time contribute to the development of a sustainable structure around the team."
