F.C. Copenhagen and Brøndby IF to provide audio for visually impaired fans during derbies
F.C. Copenhagen and Brøndby IF have agreed that both clubs will provide audio description for visually impaired fans during derby games - both in Parken and at Brøndby Stadion.
This will allow even more visually impaired fans to experience the unique atmosphere, intensity and drama that characterise the biggest club match in Danish football.
A derby between F.C. Copenhagen and Brøndby IF is much more than 90 minutes of football. It is a clash filled with emotion, tradition and rivalry, where both the action on the pitch and the atmosphere in the stands contribute to a truly special experience.
With a sold-out Parken, thousands of passionate fans, and two sets of supporters who - true to tradition - leave a distinct mark on the occasion, the stage is set for yet another intense derby.
There is a great deal for the audio commentators to convey during a derby: from the striking visual displays in the stands and the players' reactions to the intense duels, the subtle details, and the dramatic moments that so often define encounters between these two clubs.
Consequently, both F.C. Copenhagen’s own audio description team and the audio describers from Brøndby IF will be on hand for this Sunday’s derby in Parken. Their goal is to make the experience even more accessible, ensuring that visually impaired fans can also share in the rich visual spectacle and the unique atmosphere.
