Tobias Breum-Harild extends contract with F.C. Copenhagen
Young goalkeeper Tobias Breum-Harild has signed a long-term contract at F.C. Copenhagen.
Discussing the agreement, FCK's development director Morten Grahn says: "We are well equipped with several talented young goalkeepers who have great potential. This is another benefit of the FCK model, which shows that we are both skilled in our recruitment and in developing players when they come into our environment."
Breum-Harild, who turns 18 today, joined F.C. Copenhagen in 2020 from FC Helsingør. He has since become a regular member of various youth teams within FCK Talent.
“I am really happy about this extension. It's a very clear expression that the club believes in me going forward,” says Breum-Harild.
“It gives me extra motivation to do even better every day and become even sharper in all areas of goalkeeping. But also how I can contribute to making my teammates better.
“My biggest dream is of course to break into the first team and play matches in Parken, but I also know that it doesn’t happen by just dreaming about it. It requires hard work all the time."
FCK's head of recruitment Mikkel Køhler is happy to have made another long-term agreement with a player from the club’s own ranks.
“Tobias is a really talented goalkeeper, who we have high expectations of at F.C. Copenhagen," says Mikkel. "He has shown great development during his time at FCK Talent, where he has focused on his saving game and his communication, which he is highly competent in today.
“That is why we are also happy to have made a long-term agreement with him. It's a clear signal that we believe in Tobias and his potential to take the next step at our club."
