PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S to explore strategic alternatives for the group’s football activities including F.C. Copenhagen

The board of directors of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S has decided to explore strategic alternatives for the group’s football activities, including the possibility of a divestment in whole or in part of F.C. København P/S, F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S and the group’s ownership in FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB (collectively "F.C. København"). The football activities also includes hospitality activites in PARKEN Services A/S.

The process also includes the possibility of a divestment in whole or in part of PARKEN Ejendomme A/S, consisting of the football stadium, including the office towers. A divestment in whole or in part of PARKEN Ejendomme A/S is, however, not a condition for a potential divestment in whole or in part of F.C. København.

The board of directors of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S has determined that it is appropriate at this time to explore whether there are any strategic opportunities, outside of the group’s current ownership, which can contribute to strengthening the continued development of F.C. København as Scandinavia’s leading football club including through continued investment in sporting performance, fan experience and football infrastructure.

In the coming period, the strategic alternatives, including a divestment in whole or in part of F.C. København and PARKEN Ejendomme A/S, will be discussed with a number of carefully selected potential investors. PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S has appointed Tifosy Capital & Advisory as exclusive financial adviser in connection with the process. 

The group’s operations, including F.C. København’s sporting activities, continue as normal during the period.

There is no certainty that a divestment in whole or in part of either F.C. København or PARKEN Ejendomme A/S will be completed.

PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S will not comment on any rumours or speculations concerning potential interested investors and further company announcements concerning the sales process will therefore not be issued until the circumstances so require.
