Thomsen signs for Jutland club

Randers FC and FC Copenhagen have agreed the transfer of 29-year-old defender Johnny Thomsen, who immediately switches to the Danish first division club.
FCK sporting director Carsten V. Jensen stated:
- We wish Johnny Thomsen luck at Randers FC. We are well covered in his position at Copenhagen, and therefore we will not stand in the way of his career. We thank him for his efforts at the club and wish the best for him at Randers FC.
Thomsen came to Copenhagen on 1 July 2011 and played a total of 17 games for the club, covering the Superliga, DBU Cup, UEFA Champions League qualifying games and the UEFA Europa League group stage.
