New pitch for Copenhagen Derby
F.C. Copenhagen will have a new turf for the Derby against Brøndby on 1 December.
The Telia Parken pitch is being replaced before Sunday's clash, which kicks off at 11:45am.
Our grand staff have confirmed that a usable pitch in the Netherlands can be delivered and laid before Sunday's high-profile game in Copenhagen.
Work on changing the pitch will be completed by Thursday or Friday.
In an effort to improve our pitch and maintain better conditions for the long-term, FCK have been working with UEFA's preferred pitch partner - STRI - who are preparing a report with recommendations.
The report will shed light on what initiatives we can take in both the short- and long-term to set a higher bar for our pitch in Telia Parken for FCK and international matches.
