Moroccan top talent Driss Ait Cheikh to join FCK next summer

F.C. Copenhagen are delighted to announce Moroccan top talent Driss Ait Cheikh will join the club next summer.
 
Ait Cheikh, 17, is a left-footed centre-back who currently plays for Chippo FC.
 
He was part of Morocco's U17 side that won the U17 Africa Cup of Nations for the first time this spring after a victory in the final over Mali.
 
Ait Cheikh attracted great interest from top European clubs and F.C. Copenhagen are pleased to have secured a long-term agreement with the defender, who will join the club in July 2026 when he turns 18.

"We are constantly looking at where in the world the greatest talents for F.C. Copenhagen may emerge. Ultimately, it's not about where your passport is issued, but about who you are as a person and as a player.

Ait Cheikh and the Moroccan U17 national team will next week begin preparations for the U17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in November.
