Although they dominated the first half, Copenhagen found themselves a goal down at the break after SønderjyskE scored on their first meaningful attack. A flowing move eventually found Henrik Hansen in space, who squared to Eyjolfur Hedinsson to tap into an empty net.
The home side went 2-0 up five minutes into the second half when Lasse Vibe latched on to a long ball and shot low past Johan Wiland. A barrage of FCK attempts came to nothing, and it looked as though the Lions were staring defeat in the face until Bolaños offered hope with a neat finish from the right side of the box with 14 minutes to go.
On 84 minutes Ottesen met a high Bolaños cross to force the ball over the line, bringing the scores level. However, FCK couldn’t push on from there, Carsten V. Jensen’s men taking a point back to the capital.
