Copenhagen started the game strongly but struggled to make good a number of early chances. Half time came and went without a huge amount to note, but 12 minutes after the break PARKEN erupted with delight.

Christian Bolaños received a loose ball 30 yards out and, looking up to see the run of the striker, delicately chipped the ball over the AGF defence to Santin who had timed his move to perfection. The Brazilian smoothly stuck out a leg to lift the airborne ball over goalkeeper Steffen Rasmussen and into the net.

1-0 soon became 2-0 when, on 63 minutes, Cornelius let fly a curling effort from the edge of the area that left Rasmussen with no chance. It was the youngster’s fourth FCK goal and testament for his great work so far this season.

Copenhagen continued to attack and when Stephan Petersen handballed in the area, Santin looked set to make it 3-0. But his penalty rattled off the crossbar and was eventually smothered by Rasmussen, a relief that gave AGF some spirit to fight their way back into the game.

But just as the away side were looking to halve the deficit, Copenhagen advanced forward with Cornelius who, taking the ball to the byline, was tripped by Petri Pasanen for another FCK penalty. Santin again took spot kick duty, and this time made sure he scored to hand the Lions a comfortable 3-0 win.
