Lions triumph in Aalborg

Goals from Federico Santander and Nicolai Jørgensen earned FC Copenhagen a 2-0 victory at AaB to inch closer towards the Alka Superliga title.

Santander scored for a third successive league outing when he flicked on a Ludwig Augustinsson corner at the near post to fire the Lions into the lead on 32 minutes.

And Jørgensen comfortably doubled the advantage in second-half stoppage time after neat work from Danny Amankwaa down the right flank.

Santander could have got a second himself moments after scoring, while Andreas Cornelius headed wide an early effort.

The result means FCK can win the title if SønderjyskE lose at FC Midtjylland on Saturday and Copenhagen beat FC Nordsjælland two days later.
