Goalless draw in Viborg

FC Copenhagen were held to a goalless draw in Viborg that maintains their unbeaten start to the season heading into the international break.

Mathias Zanka had the ball in the net just four minutes into the game but his header from Ludwig Augustinsson’s free-kick was chalked off for offside.

Andrija Pavlovic saw two headers go begging before the break, while Rasmus Falk had his breakaway effort cleared off the line.

At the other end Serge Deblé clipped a post for the hosts, while Jung-Bin Park curled a tight effort onto Robin Olsen’s crossbar.

Pavlovic has one last chance to win it for FCK but his header from the left was well saved by Peter Friis Jensen.

The draw keeps FC Copenhagen top of the Alka Superliga by four points heading into the international break.

The Lions’ next match is at home to Silkeborg on Saturday 15 October, before a trip to Leicester in the Champions League the following Tuesday.
