Oliver Højer joins Lyngby Boldklub on loan

Oliver Højer has joined Lyngby Boldklub on loan for the upcoming season. The agreement between F.C. Copenhagen and Lyngby BK does not contain a purchase option.

FCK technical director Nils Koppen says: “Oliver is an indisputably great talent with an exciting future at F.C. Copenhagen. In order for him to take the next decisive step in his development, he needs regular and valuable experience at senior level. We believe this is the right step for Oliver right now, and therefore it has been a mutual desire to find a place where he can get the vital minutes in his legs.

"Oliver needs a stable season with plenty of playing time at the highest level. We have enormous confidence in his great potential, and this loan is solely about giving him the best conditions to build on his game.

“We look forward to following his development in Lyngby, and we look forward to having an even stronger Oliver Højer back in the white shirt in a year.”

Højer himself says about the loan agreement: “I am incredibly happy that the agreement with Lyngby has fallen into place. For me, it is right now about getting out there and proving myself at senior level and absorbing all the experience that I possibly can.

“I need minutes on the pitch and continuous playing time to continue my development. I am looking forward to starting in Lyngby and giving everything I have to help the team this season.”

Højer has a contract with F.C. Copenhagen until the summer of 2029. F.C. Copenhagen would like to thank Lyngby Boldklub for a good dialogue regarding the agreement.
