
Giorgi Gocholeishvili leaves F.C. Copenhagen
Giorgi Gocholeishvili has left F.C. Copenhagen after the completion of his one-year loan deal from Shakhtar Donetsk.
“We'd like to thank Giorgi for a good season, where he played a valuable role in winning both the championship and the cup,” says FCK sports director Sune Smith-Nielsen.
“Giorgi has been a positive presence both on and off the pitch. He deserves great praise for how he has supplemented the squad, and not least the professionalism he has shown. Especially during a difficult period when his son was in hospital.
“We want to strengthen the squad with a different player for the upcoming season. Therefore, we wish Giorgi and his family all the best in the future and say many thanks for this commitment to the club."
“We have been happy to have Giorgi in the squad,” says FCK head coach Jacob Neestrup.
"He is well-liked by everyone and on his best days he delivered an aggressive style of play. We thank him for his contribution."

Gocholeishvili played 33 games for F.C. Copenhagen. Everyone at the club wishes Giorgi and his family the best for the future.
