First-half goals enough for FCK

FC Copenhagen moved to the top of the Alka Superliga on Saturday thanks to a 2-0 win in Horsens.

Andreas Cornelius handed the Lions the lead when he rounded goalkeeper Nicklas Dannevang to tap in from the angle on 16 minutes.

And captain Thomas Delaney doubled the lead with a floated effort from the edge of the box 32 minutes in.

Delaney finished the match despite suffering two late challenges in a niggly game at the CASA Arena.

Federico Santander also went close before the break, while Ludwig Augustinsson hit the crossbar with a free-kick in the second half.

Next up for FCK is a trip to Randers on Wednesday before Saturday’s home clash with AGF in Telia Parken.
