Festival in Frederiksberg

Festival in Frederiksberg

The Danish champions FC Copenhagen yesterday went on their traditional trip to Frederiksberg Rådhus, to celebrate another Danish championship secured in May.

This time the event was moved outside to Frederiksberg Rådhusplads – the front square of the town hall – where many in Copenhagen dropped by.

In brilliant sunshine the Rådhusplads filled to approximately 600 people, and at 13:00 the players arrived. Per Wind said a few words on FCK's behalf as the festival atmosphere got going.

The autograph hunt soon began, with hundreds queuing patiently to meet their stars, and the FCK players felt the weight of keeping up with demand as the queues grew.

The cameras also flicked constantly in the direction of the players, and altogether it was a terrific day for both players and supporters. The club also gave a debut to the concept of ‘DM Cup and I’. In short, the idea gave all parties the chance to get a photo taken beside the real DM Cup, the national trophy for Superliga winners.
