Falk: 'We have to rise to again vs Randers'

Rasmus Falk says his F.C. Copenhagen teammates are raring to go ahead of Friday's clash with Randers in Parken, which comes just five days on from the derby victory over Brøndby.

The Lions are level on points with Randers heading into the 9pm kick off this Friday. And Falk insists all focus is on getting three more points on the board.

"It's a really important match for us," says the playmaker. "We showed a high level against Brøndby and delivered a very strong performance.

"It also sets the bar for us, and that is the level we have to rise to again against Randers. If we succeed in that, then we will also make it really difficult for our opponent.

"The focus is on finding a consistently high level, both with and without the ball, and putting Randers under pressure. We know that many people will come to Parken again on Friday, and this is very positive for us because we want to have a high intensity to our game.

"It helps when the stands are full, so we hope that everyone is ready to come to Parken on Friday evening."

Tickets for the game are still available, starting from 120 DKK for adults. And Falk is wary of the challenge Randers will pose on Friday evening.

"Randers can make things difficult for all teams in the league," he says.

"They're a close-knit group with some skilled and fast attacking profiles. This is another reason why we have to go into the game with all our energy focused on a solid team performance, and delivering as individual players.

"We have a strong squad and everyone is pushing to play, so I feel confident that we will field a really sharp team on Friday."

Parken's Lower C stand is sold out for the match, while there are only a handful of tickets remaining in the upper tier of Sektion 12.
