Elyounoussi: Sold-out Parken can help us against BIF

Mohamed Elyounoussi says a sold-out Parken can make the difference for F.C. Copenhagen heading into Monday's derby with Brøndby.

The Lions sit third in the Danish Superliga as the Championship Round gets underway and more than 30,000 fans will be in national stadium for Monday's 2pm showdown.

"The derby is always a fun game to be part of, and it's these big games that all footballers want to play in," said says Elyounoussi.

"Especially in a full Parken with the fantastic atmosphere that is always there. We need our fans to help give us extra energy in a match that I expect will be tough and intense. The motivation is there even for a game like this where you know how much it means to the city and the fans, so it's a game we absolutely have to win.

"I think we looked good before the international break, both defensively by keeping clean sheets and offensively, where we have created a lot of chances with our combination play. We also have many different goalscorers in the team, and we must continue with that."

FCK vs Brøndby kicks off at 2pm on Monday.
