Details of 250 tickets for home matches

F.C. Copenhagen can confirm the club have permission to have 500 people in Telia Parken for our upcoming home matches.

However, the club must state that this does not mean 500 spectators will be able to watch games live from within the stadium.

The 500 figure also includes players, coaches, referees, managers, ball boys, security staff, operations and sales staff, journalists, photographers and more.

250 seats for spectators
"In recent days, we have done everything we could to limit these groups to those most needed, but there is a certain minimum setup at a stadium of our size," says FCK commercial director Jacob Lauesen.

"These groups have been severely limited to 250 people, so we can offer the remaining 250 seats to spectators, ie fans and partners. This is only about 1.5 per cent of the seats that season tickets, subscribers and partners usually take up, so the distribution of these is not without problems. We have also worked intensively with both fan representatives and partners.

"After that dialogue, we have decided that 210 tickets will be given to our Skybox customers and 40 to fans. Before I explain why, I would like to add that Carlsberg, for example, have already said that they will accommodate our season ticket holders with their tickets to the AaB match. We are investigating if there are several partners who do not expect to be able to use all of their tickets and when it is finalised we can hopefully offer a few more tickets to fans.

An extraordinary dilemma
"The distribution of the 40 tickets currently available to the fans is a very extraordinary dilemma. Many people will be disappointed, no matter which solution we choose. However, we must remember that it is a small step forward towards completely full stands, and as previously described, we already have plans on how to handle a larger number when allowed.

"The decision to prioritise Skybox customers is solely financially dependent on the terms of the Government Aid Package, which reasonably presume that we minimise our losses. And if we do not offer Skybox customers their seats, the Auxiliary packages do not cover the substantial compensation, then we have to pay Skybox customers. That's the simple and honest explanation of the decision, given our financial situation.

"In our dialogue with the fan representatives from the FCK Fan Club and Section 12, there was understandable disappointment, but also understanding of the priorities, and I would like to take this opportunity to express our thanks."

80 tickets now available
As of Monday, FCK can confirm at least 80 tickets are available to season ticket holders and subscribers after some partners handed their allocation back.

The F.C. Copenhagen ticket draw deadline is Tuesday at 14:00.

Important we cater to all fan environments
Development consultant Daniell Askholm also expressed the difficulties of the situation for all parties.

“The respect we have have for fans and partners is a hugely important foundation in a well-functioning football club, and therefore it is important that both can come, whether we have two, 200 or 2,000 seats. We all face a huge dilemma, where the financial part of the relief packages obviously weighs heavily, but it is crucial that tickets are also found for our fans," says Daniell.

“The other thing that is important to us is that we also show respect for our various fan communities. In the dialogue it has been extremely positive to feel the understanding of both the fan club and the active supporters groups, because it is the epitome of being a football club that we talk together and stand together. Especially when circumstances are as special as right now.

"That's why we want the fan tickets to be distributed to all our four fan stands, ie Lower C, Section 12, Upper C and the Family Stand / Lower A. Of course, the number in each stand should reflect how many cardholders are in each stand."

Fan tickets draw
Jacob, meanwhile, explains how the ticket draw will work.

"As there are so few tickets for fans, we have chosen to draw lots among all season ticket holders and subscribers, where we take into account the different fan environments," Jacob adds.

"We will start this on Monday when we have clarified a number of more detailed matters. But we have already decided that the lucky ones will receive a VIP treatment. The tickets cost nothing in advance, and in addition everyone gets access to a Skybar with free beer/water and dinner, and during the match there is access to the terraces themselves.

"Since most people do not want to go to football alone, we have decided to grant the right to two seats so that you can bring a friend or family member, who of course must also be a season ticket holder/subscriber.

Check your contact information
