Copenhagen draw first friendly game

Nicolai Jørgensen rescued a draw for FC Copenhagen in the Lions’ first pre-season friendly on their camp in Austria.

The forward clipped in a first-time shot from Marvin Pourie’s cut back midway through the first half.

NK Celje had taken the lead when Karlo Tezak broke free on the left of the box and neatly tucked home past Stephan Andersen.

Yones Felfel hit the crossbar for FCK with a deft header in the second half, while Celje’s Sunny Omoregie struck the post.

And Pourie had the chance to win it at the death when he bore down on goal, only for a defender to block the striker’s effort.

NK CELJE: 1 FC COPENHAGEN: 1

FC Copenhagen: Andersen, Ankersen, Zanka, Antonsson, Høgli, Kusk, Amartey, Delaney, Verbic, Pourie, Jørgensen.
