Cesar Santin ready for F.C. Copenhagen

Cesar Santin ready for F.C. Copenhagen

Thursday morning Brazilian Cesar Santin trained with F.C. Copenhagen for the first time since his transfer was announced earlier in the week. He celebrated his last game for his former club, Kalmar FF, on Monday, when he scored a goal in their 3-2-victory against Malmö in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Now he is ready to prove his skills in what he calls "the greatest club in Scandinavian":

- I'm a bit tired right now, said Santin after the training session. - I only arrived in Copenhagen yesterday, and the first time is also hectic, but we have had a good session and I'm looking forward to my stay here.

In Kalmar FF Santin has been used to have a couple of Brazilian teammates, and that is also the situation in Copenhagen with strikers Ailton Almeida and José Junior.

- It's nice, so we can talk Portuguese together, smiled Santin, who never learned to talk Swedish during his stay in Kalmear, but he can make himself understandable in English and is also planning to learn some Danish.

He will get jersey no. 11, and he can play both in midfield and in the attack, and his favourite position is in the left side of the pitch.
