Boilesen and Fischer react to FCK win

FC Copenhagen beat FC Helsingør 4-3 on Monday night, with the Lions leaving it late to secure the three points.

FCK.dk caught up with Nicolai Boilesen and Viktor Fischer after the game to assess the victory.

Nicolai Boilesen
"We have to praise ourselves for getting the three points today.

“But our second half was not only unacceptable, it was completely insane. You cannot always explain what is happening and that can be the charm of football.

“But I do not think it was particularly charming today. It's unforgivable that we played so badly for a whole half and we're really pleased to get the three points today.”

Viktor Fischer
"It's not something we're proud of today, but after all it’s three points, and sometimes that’s all you need.

“It's hard to find something positive, but we get three points and after all, that’s good.

“I'd like to say that the fans were absolutely awesome today. They were there all the way and lifted us - that was great!”

Next up for FCK is a trip to Silkeborg on Sunday, kick off 17:00.
