2-1-sejr med lidt malurt i bægeret

Another winner for Olsen in Lions win

Brandur Olsen scored his second Alka Superliga goal in successive games as FC Copenhagen saw off SønderjyskE on Sunday night.

The midfielder thundered a header into the top corner midway through the first half to add to Steve De Ridder’s well-taken opener.

SønderjyskE were reduced to 10 men when Daniel Jensen was given a second yellow card for tripping Rurik Gislason.

But the home side fought back and former Lion Marvin Pourie halved the deficit with a break away off Mathias Zanka’s mistake late in the game.

Yet the visitors held on for the win and even saw SønderjyskE’s Nicolaj Madsen sent straight off for a lunge again on Gislason.

Copenhagen’s last game of the season off at 16:00 local time in Telia Parken this Sunday, when Hobro - safe from relegation - visit the capital.
