Andrew Clark Interview Part 1 – 'I'm here to win trophies'

F.C. Copenhagen's new head of high performance and sports science, Andrew Clark, has been settling in well in Denmark since his arrival this summer from the Australian Football Association.

And the 47-year-old sat down with FCKTV to discuss his new work at the club, and his ambitions in Copenhagen.

"I'm like anyone else here – I'm here to win trophies for the club. I'm here to support the process of making that happen and us being successful in Europe," says Clark.

"As far as my role goes, it's my job to make sure the physical capacity of the players is maximised. Under that simple statement it can be quite complex, but it's making sure our staff procedures are set out properly, we have the appropriate staff to be at the cutting edge of sports science and sports medicine.

"And then it's making sure all that we gather and all the things we do with players are integrated into the way we play at FCK."
