F.C. Copenhagen X Carlsberg
F.C. Copenhagen and Carlsberg's partnership has lasted more than 20 years and we have joined forces once again to create unique fan experiences in Parken Stadium.
The new FCK Fan Village will be ready in 2022 with the best opportunities that Copenhagen has to offer in terms of food, drink and entertainment.
The idea was created in early 2020, when we extended our partnership with Carlsberg and set aside funds for a new fan environment. The work was delayed due to Covid-19 but in return, the plans have since been expanded – in large thanks to the amounts already donated to this project from over 5,000 F.C. Copenhagen fans.
The overall goal is to improve the experience of going to an FCK match in Parken and create a gathering place for all FCK fans. The plan is for the Fan Village to open two to four hours before kickoff with an ambitious offering of food and drink, social areas, entertainment and more. The Fan Village will often also be open after the match as a gathering point for fans to discuss victories and defeats.
Flexible solution behind the B Stand
The Fan Village is for everyone who supports F.C. Copenhagen, regardless of age or where you sit in the stadium. The location will be situated behind the B Stand and will be a predominantly mobile solution that can be scaled according to the size of the match, so that it always meets the needs of our supporters. On the big days it will cover an area of 5000 square metres.
The Fan Village will be an area for all F.C. Copenhageners before and after matches in Parken, and with the possibility of other events on days that are not match days. It must be a place that brings together all the best from Copenhagen and forms a framework for unique fan experiences.
Status of the Fan Village project (22/4/2022)
Project coming in 2022!
The project has developed significantly in recent months - not least thanks to the large number of donations from FCK fans, which means there is now a prospect of supporters enjoying a fantastic Fan Village. However, this has meant that we cannot obtain the necessary approvals from the authorities within the original schedule.
We have therefore, in consultation with Carlsberg and fan representatives, decided to postpone the opening of the Fan Village until the summer of 2022.
FCK Fan Village blueprints
We are planning to build the Fan Village in the area behind the B Stand. The framework for the Fan Village is that it can be expanded and retracted depending on requirements, with a maximum size of 5000 square metres.
The club recently released 3D visualisations of what the Fan Village will look like, which you can check out here!
