FCK Women prepare for last match of 2025
F.C. Copenhagen Women's head coach Kasper Klarskov says the team is looking to end 2025 with a bang on Saturday, and is hoping to see a bumper crowd at Vanløse Idrætspark (2pm).
The Lionesses are fighting at the top of the B Liga – Danish women's football's second tier – after securing promotion in their inaugural season in the summer.
Klarskov's side hosts B93 on Saturday and he can't wait to put on a show for the fans, before the winter break.
"It will be nice to finish (the year) on home turf, in a real Copenhagen match against B.93, which hopefully can also attract plenty of fans, so that we can once again create a great atmoshphere in Vanløse," says Klarskov.
"We got a much-needed wake-up call in our match against (league leaders) ASA, which unfortunately means that we're not in control of whether we'll be top at the end of the year, which had been an internal goal from the start. But the reaction against AaB was great and I expect us to go out on Saturday and dominate the match right away and create a lot of chances, so that we can finish with a good feeling."
Festive atmosphere
F.C. Copenhagen and FCKFC are also inviting fans to enjoy mulled wine and gingerbread, so that we can say farewell to a good year together before the promotion push to the A Liga begins next year.
The women's team's Main Partner, Andel, is also offering face painting for everyone, and you can buy food from Harry's Place, coffee from Lavazza, and soft drinks and beer. You can also win prizes on Planet Nusa's wheel of fortune.
Free admission
Thanks to our partners Andel, adidas, Codan, Audi and Carlsberg, admission to the match is free. The gates open at 1pm, one hour before kickoff.
If you are unable to support the team at the stadium, you can also watch the match on both Pluto TV and FCK TV.
