FCK progress into Danish Cup quarters

F.C. Copenhagen progressed to the Danish Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday night with a 4-1 win at Hobro – and boss Jacob Neestrup was pleased to secure victory in style.

Youssoufa Moukoko scored a hat-trick, before youngster Viktor Dadason popped up with his second goal in four games in stoppage time.

"Cup football is only about one thing, which is to progress, and we did that with a secure win," says Neestrup.

"At the same time we saved some players, and that is also important in the situation we are in right now.

"Of course we needed that win, but we would have taken anything to advance. Just because we won here, everything is not good again. But now we are in the quarter-finals, and that was what it was about today.

"It was of course great to see Moukoko score three great goals, and Dadason also scored again and played a really good game again. We can also take that from this game, where we also got minutes into some players, which we're happy about."
