FCK U19s beat Tottenham in Youth League

F.C. Copenhagen's U19s delivered a sterling performance in London to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday.

Goals from Gunnar Olsen and Dominik Sarapata put the Young Lions 2-0 up before the break, while Oscar Buur tipped a shot onto the crossbar at the other end.

Tottenham reduced the deficit early in the second half through captain Callum Olusesi.

But FCK restored the 2-0 advantage when Sarapata broke from his own half and drove the ball to the edge of the box, where he found Jonathan Moalem, who rocketed home.

Buur then denied Olusesi in the 72nd minute with an excellent save but couldn’t prevent Tynan Thompson from tapping home the rebound.

The Young Lions then dug deep and showed great morale and concentration to keep Spurs away from any dangerous opportunities for the rest of the match.
