Football Festival 2026: Football, games and fair play in Frederiksberg
The 2026 summer holidays are fast approaching and F.C. Copenhagen will once again join forces with other organisations to provide a Football Festival for kids.
The Football Festival in Frederiksberg is open to kids in U6 to U10 age groups, and will take place on the weekend of 8-9 August.
The festival will be held on the artificial pitches on Jens Jessens Vej in the heart of Frederiksberg and is arranged in collaboration with FB, FA2000, KB and F.C. Copenhagen.
There will be a focus on play, experiences and community rather than results, and all teams play at least four matches. There will be no winners, but all players will receive a medal to commemorate the day.
U6 and U7 teams will play on 3-a-side pitches, while U8, U9 and U10s compete on 5-a-side pitches. The matches last 15 minutes and are played simultaneously.
The referees judge according to DBU Copenhagen's children's football rules, and there is a focus on fair play, playing time for everyone and respect on and off the field.
The festival area offers plenty of activities for the whole family, including a bouncy castle, inflatable football goals, panna courts, a giant football dartboard, etc.

- Saturday 8 August: U10 + U9 boys/girls - 10:00-15:00
- Sunday 9 August: U8 + U7 + U6 boys/girls - 10:00-15:00

- Price: 600 DKK per team

The match programme will be sent to each team's main person of contact no later than Tuesday 4 August.
