F.C. Copenhagen & HUGO BOSS extending partnership

The global fashion house HUGO BOSS will continue to dress F.C. Copenhagen until 2022.

The partnership began in 2017 and has benefited both parties, believes Katja Moesgaard, COO at F.C. Copenhagen.

”When we made the deal with HUGO BOSS in 2017, we had been looking for an international fashion brand for a longer period," says Katja.

"The new agreement is a good example of how we have developed the partnership and our club. We have increased our visibility in the market through, among other things, increasing attendance figures and our significant exposure on social media. This of course means that we will be seen even more when we wear our HUGO BOSS clothes.

"The partnership remains the only one of its kind in the Nordic region, which also indicates that F.C. Copenhagen tops the list of sports brands in Scandinavia. We want to play with the best in the world on all parameters, and we do that with HUGO BOSS.

"It is essential for us that our partnerships add value to both the brand and club, that they add value to each other, and this is the case with HUGO BOSS.

"For instance, we have produced very high-quality content, and we have also collaborated on CSR initiatives, like when we auctioned off the players' used suits to support Unicef's work.

"We look forward to continuing to develop the partnership with HUGO BOSS.”

HUGO BOSS have also seen how the increased attention and focus around F.C. Copenhagen has grown in recent years.

“The partnership with FCK continues into the fourth year, which indicates strong and fruitful cooperation for both parties," says Volker Herre, HUGO BOSS Managing Director Western Europe.

“We have been succesful in combining and taking advantage of the qualities and strengths of both brands, which has resulted in a number of store events, video productions and other launches that add value to us as a company, to our core brand BOSS and ultimately to our customers.

"FCK is the most successful football club in the Nordic region and therefore they fit our brand perfectly. We look forward to seeing the team arrive in their new BOSS outfits when they meet Celtic at home later this month.”

The first time you can see the players in their brand new suits from HUGO BOSS will be tonights home game against Celtic in the round of 32 of the UEFA Europa League.
