Clem’s wonder strike delivers FCK win in the derby

William Clem’s stunning goal nine minutes into the second half secured a well-deserved derby victory for F.C. Copenhagen against Brøndby IF at Parken on Sunday

Clem struck from distance to send the majority of the 34,448 spectators wild in Denmark’s national stadium.

The Lions controlled much of the first half, with Robert and Elyounoussi going close before the break.

Clem’s goal gave the hosts a deserved lead, and from there on we remained steady at the back to deny BIF a single clear-cut chance.

The win maintains the pace at the top of the Superliga table, while FC Midtjylland play their game in hand against Sønderjyske later on Sunday.
