Lions secure 3-0 victory over SC Braga
F.C. Copenhagen secured another memorable European victory in Parken on Thursday with a 3-0 win over Braga in the UEFA Conference League.
After a first half with few chances, Mohamed Elyounoussi opened the scoring early into the second half when bundling the ball into the net after a goalmouth scramble.
Braga thought they had levelled the game but VAR ruled out an equaliser for offside, before substitute Andreas Cornelius finished off a flowing team move to make it 2-0 with 11 minutes left.
Cornelius then bagged his second four minutes from time when chipping over the goalkeeper after being played free by Thapelo Maseko.
The victory means FCK sit second in the Conference League table, a point off Premier League side Brighton based on goal difference.
Highest attendance for a Conference League home match in the league phase
A crowd of 24,636 fans created a fantastic atmosphere for this European night in Parken – the highest attendance for a home game in the Conference League group stage/league phase. The previous record was 24,207, set against Hearts in 2024.
