Christian Hamsik joins FCK Talent

F.C. Copenhagen's Talent Department has agreed a contract to bring Slovakian midfielder Christian Hamsik to the club in January.

Hamsik was born in 2010 and will arrive in Copenhagen in January from Slovakian side MFK Dukla Banska Bystrica.

“Christian has visited us twice in 2025, where he has impressed us both on and off the pitch,” says Christian Wilkens, Head of Scouting & Recruitment U14-U17.

“He has a great dynamism to his game, and he also has an excellent mentality and willingness to learn.

“Christian has received a good football education, first at the RSC Hamsik Academy and then at MFK Dukla Banska Bystrica. He will of course start life in Copenhagen getting used to our way of playing.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming him."

Hamsik will initially join F.C. Copenhagen's U17 team within FCK Talent in January, when he turns 16. He boasts 11 caps for Slovakia’s U15 and U16 national teams.
