Stage: The quality wasn't there

Jens Stage played his 100th game for F.C. Copenhagen on Sunday but couldn't force a winning goal in the 0-0 draw at Silkeborg.

After the game Stage said: "We ran and ran and ran after them for most of the match and had a hard time getting on the ball ourselves.

"So it became a match on their terms and they also played well today.

"But even if we didn't manage to create much, it was crucial that we earned all three points, which we didn't. The quality was not there today."

Stage saw a late header fly over the crossbar on an evening of few chances for the Lions. Jonas Wind also fired wide in the first half and the striker was equally frustrated not to pick up more than a point.

"It was not spirit or energy that was lacking today, it was quality on the ball," said Wind.

"We didn't create enough at all and only pressured them towards the end. It just was not good enough today."

Next up for FCK after the international break is our final home game before the winter pause, against AGF in Parken on Sunday 21 November.
