Singh: Reserve game good for me

F.C. Copenhagen winger Luther Singh says he is finally getting into the groove at his new club after a rollercoaster few weeks.

Singh joined FCK in the summer but had to spend time back in South Africa when it emerged his passport and visa needed renewing.

Now back with the squad, Singh has been training hard and played in the recent reverse game against Brøndby.

Speaking after the match, he said: "I played an hour today, which as good for me.

"I think I needed a game like that to get my confidence back and get some game time, which I need. It was important for me to play to get my fitness up to where I need it to be."

Singh is in Jess Thorup's squad for Thursday's UEFA Europa Conference League clash with Lincoln Red Imps.

And the South Africa international is keen to continue his progress at his new club.

"We all know this month has been crazy for me," he added. "It's taken time for me to settle in but now I feel I am (settled) because I'm spending my full time with the team."
