Sahsah extends FCK deal to 2025

F.C. Copenhagen's U19 winger Noah Donovan Sahsah has extended his contract until the summer of 2025.

Development director Sune Smith-Nielsen expects to see the 17-year-old move into the first-team squad within the next few years.

"We are really happy that we can secure a full-time deal with another of our own Copenhagen boys," says Sune.

"Noah has played at the club since he was very small, and he has developed constantly all the way up through our system and environment, and has recently made a name for himself in both the U17 and U19 teams.

"He has played several positions through the youth ranks, but now he has really found his position as a winger, both at club level and with the Denmark national team. As we saw most recently in the UEFA Youth League victory over Dortmund, he is really dangerous for opponents."

Sahsah, who also has Moroccan roots, made his debut for the first team in the UEFA Conference League match against PSV in Parken back in the spring.

Discussing his ability, Sune adds: "He is dynamic, strong one on one, and generally has great attacking potential.

"And at the same time, he possesses an enormous strength both his pressing game and in terms of his deep runs. He has the ability to become a modern FCK winger who can challenge, press and score goals.

"The contract extension is an underlining of our belief in his talent - and when the timing is right, we expect to see him in the first-team squad."

At the club for more than a decade
The new contract obviously means a lot to Sahsah, who has played in KB since he was six years old.

"It's a boyhood dream come true for me and my family," Sahsah says. "I know there's a lot of hard work ahead, but it's great to have come this far and get my first full-time contract, considering all the time I have spent time at KB and FCK Talent over the years.

"The club has been a big part of my life, and it means a lot to me that I now have my future in place.

"Now it's about continuing my development, and it's about trying to get closer to the first team and being able to show the fans what I'm about. I'm really looking forward to that."
