PS&E looks into possible new company structure

The Board of Directors of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment has decided to investigate the possibilities of establishing a new company structure.

The primary focus of a new company structure will be to increase transparency in relation to all the Group's activities, with the aim of strengthening the development of the individual business segments and thereby creating an improved basis for generating further growth.

“We must constantly seek to create the optimal framework for the continued development of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment and therefore we have now decided to investigate the possibility of structuring ourselves in a new and more flexible way that opens up other possibilities than those which we have today in the overall group," says PARKEN Sport & Entertainment's Chairman of the Board, Allan L. Agerholm, who has emphasised that the company has no plans and is not in conversation with external investors.

"A possible new company structure can give the individual subsidiaries a better opportunity to grow and potentially also give the opportunity for new investors to engage in the individual companies in the long term, in the same way as is already the case in Lalandia in Søndervig."

To date, PARKEN Sport & Entertainment has operated the Lalandia business segment in independent subsidiaries, while the F.C. Copenhagen & Stadium and Office Properties have been operated as independent business segments in PARKEN Sport & Entertainment.

The starting point for the insight into a new company structure will be the establishment of a framework in which all the Group's business segments will in future be operated in independent, wholly owned subsidiaries.

The activities in Lalandia in Rødby and Lalandia in Billund are therefore planned to be split into separate operating companies and real estate companies, just as the football activities in F.C. Copenhagen, and the stadium and office properties, are planned to be separated into two separate subsidiaries. It is not expected that there will be changes in relation to Lalandia in Søndervig.

“Today we have a number of very strong and attractive companies inside PARKEN Sport & Entertainment, but we also believe that the potential in there to be even greater," says Allan L. Agerholm.

"We want to continuously strengthen all business segments further, which a new company structure can contribute to by increasing our opportunities.

"At the same time, we will get greater transparency in the individual units and new trading opportunities in relation to the continued development of the entire group."

The plan is for a new company structure to come into effect on 1 January 2022.

The development of a new company structure will not have any consequences for the announced financial projections for 2021.
