Parken transformation continues with more blue seats this winter
Parken Stadium's stands will undergo the next stage of their rejuvenation when blue seats are added to the Upper A stand this January.
Copenhagen is white and blue, and the same should be true for Parken. The stadium is steadily undergoing a facelift, with the old red seats being replaced by blue.
The seats in the stands have been red since Parken's renovation in 1992, but this summer F.C. Copenhagen took the first step to improve both the comfort and the visual experience in the ground. With new dark blue seats in the Lower A stand, the transformation of the Parken's overall appearance began.
Now it's time for the Upper A, and the replacement of the seats will begin immediately after the Champions League match against Napoli on Tuesday 20 January. This means that the entire A Stand will be blue for the return of the Superliga after the winter break in February.
As with the seats from the Lower A, it will also be possible to acquire the red seats from the Upper A for those who may be interested. More information on this will follow as the replacement approaches.
Initially, the press section will not be replaced.
The general rollout of the new seats will take place in stages over time, as it is not only the seats that will be replaced, but also the modules and metal suspension. At the same time, the process is planned carefully according to the match schedule in Parken, and the work will therefore extend over a longer period.
