New contract in place for first-team analyst
F.C. Copenhagen are delighted to confirm our fist-team analyst Nicklas Rüsz Skousgaard Pedersen has agreed a new contract with the club.
Sporting director Sune Smith-Nielsen praised Nicklas for his structured work and innovative approach, saying: “Over several seasons, Nicklas has been an important employee in ensuring the right analysis of our own team and, not least, our opponents.
"Together with the rest of the analysis team, Nicklas is highly professional, thorough, and brings an innovative approach to their field.
“At the same time, Nicklas is very well liked within the coaching staff, and thanks to his many years at the club, he has an in-depth understanding of how we work most effectively."
Nicklas holds a DBU A coaching licence and has been part of KB/FCK Talent since the age of 19, with the exception of a single year at BK Skjold. Since 2021, he has been permanently employed as an analyst for the first team.
“F.C. Copenhagen has meant a great deal to me since I was a child, and I have spent most of my adult life at the club. That is why it makes me happy and proud to be able to continue,” says Nicklas.
“I enjoy the daily collaboration with a very skilled staff and a curious group of players, and I look forward to contributing so that together we can create many more great experiences and results in the future."
