Larsson and Frederiksen move out on loan

FC Copenhagen have reached an agreement with Helsingborgs IF to loan Peter Larsson for the rest of spring to the Swedish club. Søren Frederiksen has also gone on loan for the spring season to his old club SønderjyskE. Both deals were done on the final day of the European January transfer window.

Sporting Director Carsten V. Jensen explained the reasoning behind both moves:

- Peter has long been calling for game time, and he has found that difficult to achieve with us. We are therefore pleased to be able to send Peter to Sweden for some much-desired matches. FC Copenhagen and Helsingborg IF agreed on the conditions of the loan deal while Peter urgently traveled to Helsingborgs’ training camp in Portugal to complete the final personal details. We wish Peter good luck with the coming challenge.

- We also see an advantage in loaning out Søren Frederiksen to SønderjyskE. Søren has a great desire to participate in the U21 European Championship this summer, and he will be more able to achieve this by getting playing time at his old club. We also wish Søren the best of luck on his return to SønderjyskE.
