FCK prepare for Thursday Cup final
F.C. Copenhagen face Silkeborg in the Danish Cup final on Thursday and head coach Jacob Neestrup is gunning for the double.
The Lions won the Danish Superliga for a 16th time on Sunday with a 3-0 win over FC Nordsjælland.
Now the focus turns to the cup and the final game of a rollercoaster 2024/25 season.
"First and foremost, we owe a big thank you to all the F.C. Copenhageners who were there on Sunday for the celebrations in Parken with players and staff, and with the players in Fælledparken," says Neestrup.
"You helped make a perfect day and evening, and it resulted in another great memory in the history of F.C. Copenhagen.
"It means a lot to all of us. Our young talents, our leading Scandinavian players and our talented foreign players.
"They have recently felt and seen what it means to play for F.C. Copenhagen, and they have seen what Copenhagen stands for.
"Now we are setting our sights on the next one on Thursday, when we will do everything we can to bring another cup home to Copenhagen. We are hungry to end the season with two trophies."
F.C. Copenhagen vs Silkeborg kicks off at 5pm (CEST) on Thursday.
