F.C. Copenhagen win 14th title in 30 years

F.C. Copenhagen’s 3-0 victory over AaB on Sunday secured the club’s 14th Danish Superliga title in 30 seasons in front of a sold-out Parken Stadium.

Goals from Hákon Arnar Haraldsson, Lukas Lerager and Ísak Jóhannesson secured the three points for the Lions on a day for celebrations in the Danish capital.

The party in the stands was long overdue following a rollercoaster season for the supporters, who have thankfully been able to attend games with almost no Covid-19 restrictions for much of the campaign.

Head coach Jess Thorup was also able to welcome 17-year-old Orri Óskarsson onto the field for his club debut.

The club would like to express our gratitude to the FCK supporters for their fantastic backing this season. Of course, many will already be thinking about what awaits next term. But for now, it’s time to celebrate the GOLD!
