Blue & White Banner Day 2026: Funds raised for two impact projects
F.C. Copenhagen held club's traditional Blue & White Banner Day in Parken on Sunday, where our partner clubs were honoured with a flag parade before the game against Randers.
Several new clubs participated for the first time, and we also invited FC Rosengård 1917 to participate, even though they are not a partner club.
As usual, we reserved several thousand tickets for members of our partner clubs, discounted to 25 DKK to ensure as more coaches, kids and their families could enjoy the special day.
FCK donated these revenues to a social impact cause in Copenhagen. The clubs can send proposals for what projects they'd like the money to go towards. Based on the many good suggestions, we chose to honour two.
Skjold Football Club received support for a digital ball locker, where members and locals can freely borrow football 24 hours a day via an app. The aim is to make football more accessible, create more activities across age groups and make better use of Fælledparken, the park next to Parken Stadium.
Høje Taastrup Parasport received support for two initiatives for players with special needs: a girls' weekend camp for 10–12 participants to strengthen community and recruitment, and activities to retain older players (11–18 years) through social training in collaboration with Copenhagen Beach Soccer.
During half time of Sunday's match, Niels Madsen, head of FCK's club cooperation, handed over the donations to the representatives from BK Skjold and Høje Taastrup Parasport. We wish both clubs good luck with the projects!
