Another win rounds off FCK's winter break

FC Copenhagen rounded off their preparations of the spring season with a 2-1 win over Norwegian side Rosenborg.

The Lions took the lead through Federico Santander’s rebound off a Kasper Kusk effort midway through the first half at the Number 10 training ground.

A stunning Pål Andre Helland goal drew the scores level after the break - but Benjamin Verbic’s superb solo effort ensured victory for the hosts.

Bashkim Kadrii was denied a goal when straying offside on a Lions counter, while Nicolai Jørgensen hit the side netting from close range.

Copenhagen’s next game is a home tie with Esbjerg on Sunday to kick off the return of the Alka Superliga, with Ståle Solbakken’s men leading the division by one point off AaB.
