Corner på besøg i København

Andreas Cornelius returns to face FCK

FC Copenhagen will welcome back Andreas Cornelius on Thursday night as the striker plays against the Lions for Bordeaux.

FCK host Bordeaux in the final game of the Europa League group stage at 9pm.

Cornelius has already played against FCK for Atalanta this season and faces his former club once again.

"It's going to be fun playing FCK, just like the last few times," the Denmark international said.

"There is a lot at stake because both teams can qualify, so hopefully it will be a good game. It's a kind of final, so long as Zenit beat Slavia Prague. It will be exciting."

Bordeaux head into this clash having lost three games Europa League games on the bounce.

But a victory for Cornelius and co. will fire them into the last-32 stage of the Europa League, so long as Zenit beat Slavia Prague.

"We got off to a really bad start in the group, so the fact we have something to play for is cool. And it's extra fun for me that it's in Telia Parken," Cornelius added.

FCK have already met Cornelius twice this season.

The Lions faced the striker while he was Atalanta during the Europa League qualifying stage - a two-legged clash which FCK won.

The 25-year-old has scored twice for Bordeaux this season, helping his side earn Ligue 1 draws against Lyon and PSG.
