F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S (F.C. Copenhagen Women) appoint new director

F.C. Copenhagen's commercial director, Mikkel Grove Lindsted, joins F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S (F.C. Copenhagen Women) as the new director.

With the recent promotion to the top Danish league – the A-Liga – F.C. Copenhagen Women is moving into a new phase with a focus on sustainable development and consolidation, and therefore Mikkel joins as the new director from today.

He will continue in his current role as commercial director of F.C. Copenhagen, while at the same time heading up the company behind the club's women's team.

F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S will soon present a new strategy, and Mikkel will be responsible for implementing the strategy and driving continued development. The focus will be on creating a solid, long-term foundation for a team at the top of Danish women's football for many years to come.

"The team has managed to achieve promotion two years in a row, and based on this great effort, we are now entering the A-Liga," says Henrik Møgelmose, Chairman of the Board of Directors of F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S.

"We have therefore achieved our first goal and are now facing the next phase of development. Against this backdrop, we will soon be able to announce the new strategy, and we are pleased that Mikkel Grove Lindsted is leading this work."

F.C. København Kvindefodbold A/S is a subsidiary of F.C. København P/S, and Mikkel takes over the position as director of the company from Jacob Lauesen, CEO of F.C. København.
