Tobias Breum-Harild moves up to the first-team squad

Tobias Breum-Harild has played at FCK Talent for a long time and he has most recently guarded the goal for the U19 team. After signing a new deal and getting a taste of the first team environment - including being part of the training camp in Spain - he is now taking the next step in his development.

Morten Grahn: The next step
Head of development Morten Grahn sees the promotion as a great opportunity for Breum-Harild to further build on his game in a new environment.

"Tobias has delivered good and consistent work in our talent department, and it is a natural part of our strategy that we are now giving him the opportunity to continue his development at the next level," says Grahn.

"We know that the transition from youth to senior football takes time and adjustment, but Tobias has shown the right attitude to take on that challenge. For us at FCK Talent, it is always positive when one of our own players takes the step up to the first-team squad and gets the chance to learn from and absorb the daily routine among the best players in Scandinavia."

Nils Koppen: An important part of the goalkeeping team
Technical director Nils Koppen explains that Breum-Harild’s primary focus will be the daily work on the training pitch alongside the club's other goalkeepers.

"With the promotion, Tobias becomes a permanent part of our goalkeeping team, where he will work closely with our other keepers and coaching staff on a daily basis. This will provide him with the optimal framework to learn what is required daily at this level," Koppen explains.

"It is not about him being the finished goalkeeper from day one, but about adding layers to his game and learning from the experienced people around him. Tobias has shown that he is ready to work hard and dedicatedly, and we have a good, shared plan for how we can best support him in that process."

Breum-Harild: Ready to work hard
For the 18-year-old goalkeeper, the promotion is a motivating opportunity to develop even further.

"It is a really exciting step for me, and I am happy for the opportunity to become a permanent part of the squad from the new season. I know that it requires hard work every single day on the training pitch, and I am fully prepared for that," says Breum-Harild.

"Now, for me, it is about finding my place in the goalkeeping team, soaking up experience from the others, and constantly adding layers to my game. I look forward to being challenged in daily life and will do everything I can to contribute positively to the training environment and the team."

Breum-Harild officially joins as a permanent member of the first-team squad when pre-season preparations for the new season get underway.
